Nikita’s therapeutic style is one of warmth, empathy, authenticity, curiosity and respect. She aims to provide a safe, non-judgemental and collaborative environment in which her clients feel validated and reassured. Her approach revolves around the belief that to truly thrive, we must address the whole person, implementing a holistic approach to overall wellbeing. To do so, Nikita adopts a client-centred focus and capitalises on her clients’ unique strengths and values, building insight and understanding into their experiences, and reclaiming control and responsibility over their lives.

Nikita has experience in providing evidence-based psychological interventions to children, adolescents, and adults from a diverse range of cultural backgrounds across acute and sub-acute outpatient hospital settings as well as university and youth mental health care. She has experience and training in multiple therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Schema Therapy. Nikita has experience administering comprehensive neurocognitive assessments for both adult and child ADHD as well as specific learning disabilities. Additionally, Nikita has completed specialised training in the effective psychological treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder.
